Echizen (???, Echizen-ch?) is a town located in Ny? District, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.

Echizen Town is located on the western coast of Fukui Prefecture, facing the Sea of Japan. It is bordered by Echizen City to the south, Sabae City to the East, and Fukui City to the north. Echizen Town is well known for its production of high quality crab, rice, pottery, and daffodils.

On February 1, 2005 the towns of Asahi and Ota, and the village of Miyazaki, all from Ny? District, were merged to create Echizen Town. As of May 1, 2017, the town has an estimated population of 22,209 and a density of 150 persons per km². The total area is 152.90 km².
